Lead is a highly versatile material for roofing and when it comes to roof repair or flashing, it is an extremely popular choice.
Leadwork is highly durable and has a natural resistance to corrosion and water. As well as being extremely flexible, it is also soft and adaptable, allowing it to be bossed into a variety of different shapes.
Most commonly, leadwork is used to seal the joints between two surfaces on a roof known in the trade as flashing, creating a barrier between the roof and brickwork.
Once fitted your roof will be better protected from unpredictable changes in weather as well as offering you further protection from leaks.
